LONGTOWN BREEDING CATTLE SALE

The Cumberland and Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart P.L.C. had forward 295 store & breeding cattle at their Principal Autumn Sale of Beef Breeding Cattle on Saturday 8th October 2005.

All classes of cattle sold at recent rates, selling to a top of £740 for a Limousin heifer with bull calf at foot from A. & B. Fox, Hilltop, Longtown.
