SECOND MULTI BREED RAM SALE
TUESDAY 30th OCTOBER 2007
The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 174
rams of all classes at their second sale on Tuesday 30th
October. Good quality rams and ram lambs were well sought
after by a large ring of buyers resulting in a near total clearance.
Top was of £280 was achieved twice, firstly for a Suffolk
ram lamb from D Martindale, Lands Farm and for a Texel shearling
from Messrs Cockburn, Kingside.
