Included in the sale on Thursday 26th August, 2004 was
a show of Texel prime lambs on behalf of the Solway & Tyne Texel
Breeders.
Mr Andrew Dawson of Kirkby Lonsdale was judge for the day
and made the following awards:
1st prize & champion pen – A.R. Bell,
Kirkton, Hawick(sold for £60 to Mr Wyn Ellis of Welsh Country
Foods, Anglesey – the
lambs are destined for the shelves of the ASDA Supermarket Network).
