The £5000 Ram from J.W. Gibb, Toftcombs, Biggar
The £1000 Ram from W.J. & J.G. Bell, Kinning Hall, Hawick.

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. had a super entry of 249 rams at the Dectomax Kelso Ram Sales on Friday 10th September 2004.

Early in the morning in Ring 3, our highlight of the day was for a Texel shearling from J.W. Gibb of Toftcombs, Biggar which sold for £5,000 to Messrs McKerrow, Grougfoot, Linlithgow.

Whilst in the non-accredited ring 19 a Texel shearling sold at £1,000 from W.J. & J.G. Bell, Kinning Hall, Hawick to D. Bell, Greenknowe, Canonbie.

In ring 1, Border Leicesters from Mrs I. Duncan, Knowehead, Insch, Aberdeen peaked at £950 to R. Weir, Townfoot Farm, Thornhill.
