Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their fortnightly sale of 563 store cattle in Dumfries on Monday 16th April 2007, including the spring sale of 167 organic status cattle.

Organic cattle: with buyers from all over Scotland, the north of England and Ireland in attendance, competition was fierce for all classes of organic cattle, highlighting the full benefits of live selling.
