SALE OF BREEDING CATTLE

MONDAY 8th OCTOBER 2007

Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward a good selection of Breeding Cattle at their Dumfries Centre on Monday 8th October 2007.

Included in the sale was the dispersal of beef cows from Messrs AB & H Murray, Sarkside, Kirkpatrick-Fleming.

A large crowd ensured a good trade and the £1000 barrier was broken 5 times, selling to a top of £1150 for an Angus X Heifer with Charolais Bull Calf from Sarkside.

Top Prices – Stock Dispersal cows average £800 overall.
