Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held a sale of 41 Working Collies at Hammerlands Centre, Moffat on Saturday 22nd September 2007.

A bright morning brought out a large attendance of potential buyers to the spectacular setting of the Hammerlands Centre. Competition for the best dogs was fierce.

The day’s top price of 2150gns was paid for a 2.5 year old tricolour bitch from Moneymore, Co Londonderry to Messrs Barker, Canonbie.

Others to 2,000 gns for Ben a 3 y.o. black and white dog from Torbothie, Shotts to Messrs Wright, Ardluie and 1,820 gns for Roy a 4 y.o. dog from Cowburn, Lockerbie to Messrs Gardner, Lesmahagow.
