Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their weekly primestock sale in Dumfries on Wednesday 28th March 2007.

This included a Show of Cheviot Hoggs held by the Cheviot Sheep Society.

The judge C Anderson of CK Meats, Carlisle awarded the Championship to a pen of 46kg sheep from Bridgewater & Wood, Potholm, Langholm. They realised £60 to Border Meats, Lockerbie.

The reserve pen of 40kg hoggs from JA McGarva, Horseclose, Annan sold for £53.50.
