Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held a special sale of Store hoggs, cast ewes and rams in Dumfries on Friday 19th January 2007.

414 breeding sheep: this included the dispersale of stock ewes on behalf of RJ & EA Weir, Laightmuirside, Thornhill which attracted keen local support and sold to £71 for Texel cross 1 crop ewes scanned with twinds. Overall the average for the stock was £60.20 for 325 sold.
