The firm had forward 1622 prime lambs and 357 cast ewes and rams at their Annual Xmas Show and sale at Dumfries. The judge Mr C Anderson awarded the championship to Messrs D & D Aitken for a pen of five Beltex X lambs scaling and realising £135 per head to Messrs Bowood Farms.
