Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their weekly sale of primestock at Dumfries on Wednesday 13th December 2006.

The Christmas Show of Prime Sheep was ably judged by W MacTaggart, Castle Douglas who awarded the Championship to a pen of Beltex Lambs weighing 39k from CJ Guild & Son, Laight, New Cumnock, these made £72 selling to PR Duff, Wishaw.

The reserve champions were Texels from G Scott, Annandale, Lockerbie weighing 42k and selling for £68 to R Johnstone & Sons, Butchers, Annan
