The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 485 store
cattle at their fortnightly sale on Tuesday 13th May 2008.
Store
cattle met a fast and furious trade with smaller grass cattle off
the clock, selling well beyond vendors expections. Top price was £800
for a Charolais heifer from Shankbridge End Farms.
