Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held their weekly sale of breeding and feeding sheep at Dumfries on Friday 29th October 2004.

2674 feeding lambs were presented to a good attendance of both local and distant buyers. Trade was good and more could have been sold.

Texel - £40.20, £40 Nether Laggan, £40 North Park, £39.20 Darlochan, £38.50 Meikle Garclaugh and North Park.
Suffolk - £40 Dollard, £39.80 Upper Rigg, £37.50 Darlochan.
Mule - £37.50 Dollard, £37.20 Meikle Garclaugh, £35.50 Dalpeddar, £35 Ballinnie.
Blackface - £36.50 Castle Crawford, £34 Snar, £24.80 Stanhope.

Feeding Ewes – Beltex - £43.50 Balliemore.

The firm also held their final sale of the season of 113 breeding rams.
