Sale of Breeding Sheep at Dumfries Mart

Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC conducted their sale of breeding and store sheep at their sale in Dumfries on Friday 24th September 2004.

1033 breeding sheep and 2027 store lambs were forward and a large ringside of buyers ensured all classes met a firm demand.

Gimmers – Mule - £82 and £81 Linns, £75 and £66 Shawhill, £65 and £57 Tara, £67 Coatston, £62 Glenmaid.
Cheviot Mule - £70 Coatston, £68 Horseclose, £67 Hoddamtown, £59 Arnmannoch.
Texel - £69 Horseclose, £66 Bridgend, £66 and £64 Nether Keir.
Half-bred - £56 Hoddamtown.
