Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report
C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM’s and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 26th January 2026.
An increased ringside of 12 Buyers was in attendance with trade buoyant for all classes. Meated cows in demand. Beef Cows averaged 273.1p/kg to 342p/kg from Paterson, Hartbush and to £2475 from Bell, Cormaddie. Dairy Cows averaged 201.2p/kg to 258p/kg and £2231.70 from Gibson, Bush of Kilylour.
Prime cattle realised 445p/kg for a Limousin cross Heifer from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
