C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM & Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 27th October 2025.
150 forward; Big show of OTM’s presented to a full attendance of buyers and more could easily be sold. Well fleshed cows selling at Premium rates. Big percentage of leaner types forward. Beef cows sold to 380p/kg from Davies, Low Peninver and to £2712.50 from Bunting, Calhame. Dairy cows to 308p/kg from McDougal, Heathfield and to £2353 from Murray, Conheath. Bulls sold to 270p/kg and to £3091.50 from Littleson, Killegruer.
Prime cattle from Jardine, Yett sold to Johnstone & Son Butchers, Annan at 435p/kg.
